Song of a Coward

Long have you been hiding alone in disgrace

Concealing your dark secrets,

They have now festered, grown and raised

Now bearing a Monster’s face

Long have you let that Monster torture your soul

Fed by the fear of being discovered

It has become an obese troll

Your sense of life is what it owns

Let go your mysteries, Let go your lies

Seek them from the darkest corners you hide

Your demons are for you to abide

Long have you cowardly held yourself back

Afraid of letting out the demon inside

Thinking of all the strength you lack

Boy, rediscover the courage you once had

Let go your mysteries, Let go your lies

Seek them from the darkest corners you hide

Your demons are for you to abide
